It has been awhile

Hey out there in Blog-land.
Fishing has been great for those who have been out. Congrats to LT on a 30+ inch walleye.
Here is the thought for today. Do you accept mediocre service? As I have my quiet time each day I have reflected on the service I have gotten from a “vendor” whether it be a diner, service station (I know it seems to be an oxymoron), a retailer or even the paper boy/girl. Most of the time I am disappointed or at least not impressed. I work hard for my money and I would hope that the people I “employ” to deliver my paper or cook my family a meal would appreciate this, but sadly I don’t think they often do. But if I reflect on my service to the King I realize that I most often don’t respect the high cost He paid so that I could be serving Him. He died so that I may live and yet I serve mediocrity up on a regular basis. So I think it is die to self for the One that died for me, He died not only to set me free but because He did not want to live without me.
